Fencyboy

Fencyboy is a LoRaWAN-based IoT sensor for monitoring electric fences in real time.

How it Works

Direct voltage measurement

A Fencyboy sensor connects with one wire to the electric fence and another to a long earthing rod. It measures the high voltage (e.g. 8500 V) and transmits the readings wirelessly.

Multiple sensors, one gateway

Several Fencyboy sensors can be installed along the same fence for multiple readings. All communicate with one or more central gateways, which can be mounted high up, for example on an animal feed silo.

Pinpoint faults instantly

With multiple sensors, faults like a cut fence wire can be localized: the voltage drops to 0 V on disconnected segments, making troubleshooting fast and easy.

Easy to use Dashboards

We provide a wide range of dashboards to display relevant information

Through the regularly transmitted live metrics of the fence, you immediately notice if something happens. With access to the historical data you can easily detect the growth of grass and bushes along the fence and do something about it.
